About Eric
Eric McVicker, a proud resident of Mandeville, LA, is a dedicated advocate for the vibrant wildlife and rich cultural heritage of South Louisiana.
A graduate of LSU, Eric’s diverse professional background spans political campaigns, community organizing, and advocacy at all levels of government. His expertise in political and organizational fundraising, combined with his experience in radio and photography, has made him a formidable force in over 100 political campaigns across Louisiana and the nation.
He has also worked with numerous nonprofits, political action committees, and foundations to raise funds, build community support, and advocate for causes close to his heart.
Eric’s passion for the natural beauty and unique culture of Louisiana led him to channel his talents into photography and drone videography. What began as a hobby has evolved into a deep commitment to showcasing the landscapes, wildlife, and traditions of his beloved adopted state.
A graduate of Loyola University’s Institute of Politics program, Eric has served on the boards of Safe Harbor, the Youth Service Bureau, and the Northshore Humane Society. Eric’s leadership extends to his community, where he served as the President of two neighborhood associations in Mandeville.
With a Nikon camera in hand, he's captured over 135,000 moments in the wilds of Louisiana over the past five years. From the swamps to the bayous, Eric has focused on the untamed beauty of this region
Above all, Eric treasures his role as a father to his daughter, Caroline, who was born in 2022. Through his work and his passion, Eric McVicker continues to contribute to the preservation and celebration of Louisiana’s wildlife and cultural landscapes.
